I thought I'd make a note, before I turn away, that the truth is hurting more and more each day.
Every time you want me to come up to visit I wish we had what we had because I really miss it.

And I thought I'd let you know that I found a brand new home that knows where I like to go when feel calm and so alone.

I thought I'd let you know that I'm doing just okay. And I know that you would only want the best for me anyway. But it's hard to see it all turn out this way. It feels like what I grew up with has turned to waste.

And my sister, I wish we were closer. I never felt like I ever got to know her. I wish that we could have something to bond over, but the gene pool has never felt colder.
